Today is the first meet!  A Big THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered and filled all the positions.  We could still use 2 stroke and turn judges for our meet on Thursday, please and thank you.

TODAY: warm ups start at 4:45 pm. We recommend that you get to the pool 10-15 min before the start of warm ups so that swimmers are ready to go.

We will be separating our warm up time into 2 warm up sessions so it is less crowded for our swimmers:

• 10 and under age groups from 4:45 - 5:00pm  **a few extra helpers for little little kids would be greatly appreciated if any big kids want to assist**
• 11 and over age groups will warm up from 5:00 - 5:15pm

Yellow Springs will then warm up from 5:15 until 5:45. The meet will begin at 6:00 pm!

Additional Reminders:   

+If you forgot to sign up for THURSDAYS meet, Coach is opening that up again between noon and 2pm today-so declare your swimmers if you haven't

+Be sure to include notes like: "my swimmer needs a helper" or "he does NOT want to be put in fly" or "They'll swim anything you want/need them to" when declaring your swimmers.  It really helps coach be best prepared for our meet.

+Please turn in your $125 volunteer checks and fees-we will start tracking you down soon if you don't.  Also, we ask that each family donate a case of water and a case of name brand soda OR Gatorade to stock our gator grill. 

++If you haven't signed up for all 5 of your positions we have spots open that we need to fill at a several of our meets still.  

    +If you have filled 5 and have been around awhile can you please think about possibly opening up one of your comfortable/easy position for a new family for jobs that are NEEDED but less filled like stroke and turn judge/starter.  They're really not that difficult.  We are offering 'training' sessions on fun Fridays and you can always ask Abby/Sandy at practices.

+We had several later sign ups--Welcome! if you didn't get a beginning of the season email with ALL the info let us know-send us an email and we will get it to you.
